MARKETER CLUB

Marketer Club was created in 1997, at the initiative of Marketing students, under the guidance of the Marketing Department at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The club's main objective is to promote marketing both in the academic environment and beyond, facilitating contact between academia and the professional world.

Why Marketer Club?

Please answer the following questions:

  • Are you a student at the Marketing School?
  • Is your main career objective to become a recognized and appreciated manager, specialist, or consultant in marketing?
  • Are you interested in participating in debates and events on current marketing topics?
  • Do you want to meet personalities from the marketing field, both in Romania and internationally?
  • Do you want to work on marketing projects with other students from the Marketing School, other ASE faculties, and renowned specialists?

If you answered yes to these questions, we invite you to become a member of the Marketer Club.

Activities

Marketer Club's activities include:

  • Organizing conferences;
  • Publishing the Marketer Club magazine;
  • Organizing training programs for students;
  • Conducting market research.

Examples of Marketer Club Projects

One example of a project involving Marketer Club members was the organization of the competition Echipa Campioană during the 2003–2004 academic year. This competition took place within the framework of the partnership between Coca-Cola HBC Romania and the Marketing School.

Another example is the market research conducted by Mercury Research and Marketer Club in 2004. In collaboration with the well-known market research company, members of Marketer Club conducted the study “Perceptions and Attitudes of Economics Students Regarding the Job Market in Romania.” This research was part of a larger project titled “Decide, Build Your Career,” initiated by Marketer Club.
