In 2001, the “Marketing Library” collection was created at the initiative of Prof. Dr. Virgil Balaure – then Head of the Marketing Department – with the support of department members and collaborators. Starting with the title “Marketing Information Systems,” authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gheorghe Orzan, the “Marketing Library” is the result of a long-term partnership between Uranus Publishing House and the Marketing Department of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Currently, over 20 books have been published, with many others nearing completion.
In addition to publications under the “Marketing Library” label, members and collaborators of the department have been involved in publishing a significant number of other books in the field of Marketing and related economic areas, published in collaboration with other major publishers.
