Presentation

Mirela Cătălina TÜRKEȘ is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). She graduated in 2001 from Transilvania University of Brașov, Faculty of Economic Sciences, with a specialization in International Transactions. She later completed the DAFI Master's program in Financial Management and Capital Markets at the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking, and Stock Exchanges at Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Since 2005, she has been a member of CECCAR and ANEVAR in Romania. She has been working in the Department of Marketing at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies since 2022 and teaches Logistics (undergraduate level – taught in Romanian) and Marketing in Tourism (undergraduate level – taught in Romanian). She is the sole author of three books: Marketing Basics, Marketing of Financial-Banking Services, and Another Way to Learn Marketing. As a co-author, she has published chapters in international volumes: Research Anthology on Business Continuity and Navigating Times of Crisis, Management Accounting Standards for Sustainable Business Practices, Throughput Accounting in a Hyperconnected World, and Network Security and Its Impact on Business Strategy.

Research fields

1) Logistics, involving the analysis of the content and components of goods logistics, the relationships between logistics and marketing, customer service, goods procurement, goods transportation, goods storage, inventory management, and organizing logistics activities.
2) Marketing in Tourism, analyzing tourism planning, identifying and evaluating tourist destinations and their place in marketing, studying consumer behavior in relation to tourist products, and examining the process of marketing research in tourism.
